For two decades Little Sister made their mark on the South African music scene. With a string of memorable hits to their credit, including four Number Ones – 'Dear Abbie (One Night of Passion)', 'Peace on Earth', 'Mystery of Life' and 'Love is a Weapon' the Pretoria-born sisters Debbi and Jenni Lonmon were polished, professional and original.

Their unique sound – developed from influences as diverse as folk, blues, and hard-edged rock n roll featured both girls on acoustic guitar and vocals.

The multi-award-winning act shared the bill with Bryan Adams, UB40, Wigfield, Indecent Obsession, Patrizio, and Wynona Judd and the inauguration of South Africa’s most iconic president, Nelson Mandela.

During the course of a career which has included several gold discs and multiple awards (including Best New Artists and Best Rock Artists), they recorded five albums. Highlights also include a tour of the Far East and the USA.

They appeared on Stars for a Star, host to some of the top international names at the time, including Ronan Keating, Shayne Ward, Will Young, and Bananarama.
