Possibly the most popular gospel choir in South Africa. This Methodist group has been one of South Africa's top-selling music groups since 1985.

Internationally acclaimed, Amadodana Ase Wesile, was formed in 1985 by the Methodist Church’s Young Men’s Guild (YMG) of Gauteng’s Central District. The founders were Thomas Mokhathi and Mongezi Nhose. The current ensemble, some of the original members, is composed of fourteen male singers: Thomas Mokhathi, Fana Sthole, Mandla Mabaso, Phillip Mtshali, Thato Rantimo, Samson Mthembu, Victor Mbangi, Mxolisi Makhawula, Tshidiso Ntabeni, Banele Gcobo, Nathaniel Dilata, and Freeman Khatshwa, Bafana Ramouti, Tius Mautshotlo, Siphiwo Mxhosa.

Through their melodious voices, the message of cultural and spiritual autonomy has touched many hearts over the years, not only in our local community but even further afield, in the communities of all nations. They obtained First Prize at the International Gospel Music Festival in Istanbul, Turkey in July 2000 and never looked back
